Sample: "New Client Kit for Dog Walkers"
SAMPLE: built with the Guided Build process. This is an example we made to show what the plan, the deliverables and a written review look like. The niche, the product and the "seller" are fictional. It is not a customer, it has not been sold, and there are no sales numbers because there are none.
The fictional starting point
A part-time dog walker in a mid-sized city wants to sell a first digital product to other independent dog walkers. They have no audience, no website and about 5 hours a week. Their questionnaire answers, condensed:
- Product idea: "Something that helps new dog walkers get set up properly."
- Audience: people starting a solo dog-walking or pet-sitting business.
- Stage: just an idea.
- Biggest blocker: "I don't know what people would actually pay for."
- Goal for 30 days: a product live with a working checkout and a first launch week done.
Part 1. The written plan (excerpt)
The plan narrows "help new dog walkers" to one job buyers already spend money and time on: getting a new client's details, rules and prices on paper before the first walk. Evidence to collect in week 1, before building: threads in dog-walker groups and forums asking for intake forms or pricing help, existing paid templates on marketplaces and what their 1- and 3-star reviews complain about.
| Week | Focus | What you send for review |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Validate and write the offer | The one-page offer below + 10 links to buyer questions you found |
| 2 | Build v1 of the product | The product draft (docs/sheets) |
| 3 | Sales page, checkout and delivery | Sales page link + a test purchase |
| 4 | Launch posts and first 14 days of distribution | 3 draft posts + where you'll share them |
| Final | Launch checklist | The completed checklist with links |
Part 2. The one-page offer
- Product: New Client Kit for Dog Walkers (example)
- Buyer: someone starting a solo dog-walking business who has 0 to 10 clients.
- Problem: first meetings with new clients go long, important details (vet, access, behavior, emergency contact) get missed, and prices get set on the spot.
- What it is: 4 fill-in documents: a client intake form, a dog profile and behavior sheet, a one-page service and rate sheet template with a pricing worksheet, and a meet-and-greet checklist.
- Format: editable Google Docs and Sheets plus PDFs, instant download.
- Price: $19 (example), one-time.
- Refund: 14 days.
- What it does not do: it isn't legal advice and doesn't replace insurance or a contract reviewed for your area.
- First distribution channels: two dog-walker communities that allow resources (rules read first) and Pinterest pins for "dog walking intake form".
Part 3. A sample sales page section
Headline: Run every new-client meeting from one checklist
Subhead: Intake form, dog profile, rate sheet and meet-and-greet checklist for independent dog walkers. Editable, printable, ready in an afternoon.
What's inside
- Client intake form: contact, access, vet, emergency contact, permissions
- Dog profile: routine, behavior, triggers, health notes
- Rate sheet template and a pricing worksheet to set your own prices
- Meet-and-greet checklist so nothing gets missed at the first visit
Preview: two real pages from the kit shown as images.
FAQ: Is this a contract? No. It's an intake and organization kit. Have any agreement reviewed for your area.

Part 4. The launch checklist
- Product files open on phone and desktop; links in the PDF work
- Checkout tested with a real purchase and refunded
- Delivery page or email arrives within a minute of paying
- Refund policy and contact email on the sales page
- Sales page shows 2 preview images and who it is not for
- 3 launch posts written for 2 channels, community rules checked
- Day 1, 3, 7 and 14 metrics written down: visits, checkout starts, sales
- One change chosen in advance for day 7 if sales are 0
Part 5. A sample written review (week 3, sales page)
What's working: the headline names the buyer and the job. The "what's inside" list is concrete.
Fix first (highest impact): the preview images are below the FAQ. Move them directly under the "what's inside" list. Buyers judge a template by seeing it, and right now most visitors won't scroll that far.
Fix next: the button says "Buy now". Change it to "Get the kit ($19)" so the price isn't a surprise at checkout. Add one line under it: "Instant download. 14-day refund."
Check before launch: your test purchase sent the files, but the email landed in spam on one test inbox. Add the download link to the after-payment page too, so buyers aren't dependent on the email.
Your task for week 4: draft 3 posts that each answer one question you found in week 1, with the kit mentioned once at the end where the community allows it.
